Nice to meet ya!

Well hello there! It has been awhile since I've blogged in general! In 2011 we were dealing with a few stirred up ghosts & I was blogging at www.sinkinthehall.blogspot.com  & also in 2011 I wrote a novel in about two weeks live for all of my online friends to read at www.chapterbychapterreading.blogspot.com.

(SIDE NOTE I HATE THAT YOU SEE THE FINAL BLOG POST FIRST AND HAVE TO GO ALL THE WAY TO THE END TO SEE THE BEGINNING, BUT IT IS OUT OF MY CONTROL.)

Anyway, for an even more in depth glimpse of who I am, feel free to check out those blog links... Otherwise I'll give you a brief introduction now!

I'm Lindsay. I have always been a happy person & am often told that I smile a lot. I got married to my dream man at the age of 17 & 11.5 years & 3 kids later, we are watching our happily ever after unfold one day at a time. I'll save the entire story for another day, but for now all you need to know is that although life has ups & downs, & even though I've made my fair share of mistakes, I am entirely proud of where I am at this very moment & really couldn't ask for anything more!

I consider myself an old soul. It used to just be a meaningless phrase that had a nice ring to it, but now it means so much more. I was raised in a Southern Baptist Church & have always loved God. I still love God although my definition of God has grown and changed recently. I was the youngest of five children with two wonderful parents & a very musical upbringing. I knew how to whistle on demand when I was six months old & always loved to write poetry & spin stories for whoever would listen or send a little attention my way.

Over the past year I have become very "spiritual." I've always been drawn to shows about spirits, mediums, ghosts, etc., & of course living in a "haunted house" probably nudged me in this direction as well, but it was only recently that I realized that my interest in those things had more to it & how much it really resonated with me on a deeper soul level.

I am currently studying to be a hypnotherapist & feel like I am finally on my right career path (I've been an English major at Lander University, a Cosmetology major at Charzanne Beauty School, an Elem Ed major at Anderson University & never felt content or found the need to finish a degree at any of those schools! Some may call me a failure or a beauty school drop out, but I just call myself Lindsay!). I literally cannot wait to open a practice and help people daily!

Join me in taking a look at my beliefs and how they tie in with my Southern Baptist upbringing, as well as in watching the rest of my journey unfold. Some posts will be random, some will be deep, some will be uplifting, some will be controversial, but I can guarantee you that they will all come from my heart!
